The Morecambe Carnival Royalty Competition is back for MC19 with help from our friends at Beyond Radio.
The aim of the Royalty Competition is to find a ‘Queen’ and ‘Rosebud’ who will become figure heads of MC19 for the 2019 parade. As well as this they will be invited to represent Morecambe Carnival at other carnivals across the north west as well as at local official events and functions. This traditional carnival competition has been a part of the new Morecambe Carnival since 2014.
It’s up to the community to nominate exceptional young people to take up these titles. They must embody qualities including community spirit, determination, kindness and awareness.
So Parents, Guardians, Family and Friends – GET NOMINATING!
